A graduate of Lake City Community College with an AS degree in Golf Course Management, Don Johnson, CGCS, has worked as a Golf Course Superintendent for 19 years, the majority as a Certified Golf Course Superintendent. His international career started in 1991 in Dubai, UAE. He returned to his home state of Florida after two and a half years and then spent eight years in Costa Rica. From there, he went to Canouan Island in the Grenadines, then moved to Anguilla in 2004.

Don was part of the construction team that built the original Temenos 18 Hole Greg Norman Signature Design Golf Course, where he was responsible for the planting and maturing of the grass and the preparation of the golf course for the grand opening. The original course was under Troon Management, recognized as the leader in providing superior golf course playing conditions and exceptional customer service. When he departed Anguilla, he spent one year at another Troon-managed Greg Norman Signature Design Golf Course in Cancun, Mexico, and then most recently spent three years at a Troon-managed Greg Norman Signature Design Golf Course in Cairo, Egypt.

Don was lured back to Anguilla when CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa purchased the former Temenos course in September 2011 and asked him to return as Director of Golf Operations to a golf course he was part of creating. With his extensive background and experience, Don was able to bring the course back to excellent standards in a very short time, and ensures it is maintained at optimum playing condition by managing the entire golf operation to the highest international standards.

Scott comes to CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa after serving as Head Golf Professional at Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club, a private 18-hole member owned club, located in Coral Gables, Fl. Scott is a Class "A" Professional, and has the designation of PGA Certified Professional. Of the 24,000 PGA Professionals worldwide, only 800 currently hold the designation of PGA Certified Professional.

Scott was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, but spent most of his life growing up in the Midwest. He started playing the game of golf at a young age, and quickly began playing tournaments all over the Midwest and East Coast of the United States as a Jr. Golfer. Scott followed his dream of playing competitive golf in college when he accepted a golf scholarship to Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. In college, Scott competed at the Division II level, and twice competed in the NCAA Division II Regional Tournaments, as well as being named to the First Team All-Conference in the Heartland Conference (2003). After graduating from Drury University with a double major in Advertising and Public Relations, he decided he wanted to remain around the game that he loved, so he decided to pursue a career as a Club Professional. Through college, Scott worked on the outside operations team at Country Club of Vermont in Waterbury. While working at CCVT, Scott passed his Playing Assessment Test for the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA), and began working towards his first career goal of becoming a PGA Professional. Through the years, Scott worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Murder Rock Golf & Country Club and Millwood Golf and Racquet Club, as well as the Head Golf Professional/Director of Golf/Director of Operations at Palm Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach, Fl.

Through his PGA career, Scott has earned Player of the Year for his district in the Midwest section PGA and won the 2014 South Florida PGA Southern Chapter Championship. Scott has a great playing background, which he is able to transfer into his teaching. He is a Certified Instructor for Impact Zone Golf, a methodology of teaching that is based around five fundamentals of the golf swing. He is committed to customized teaching, not just one style or one swing, which makes him able to tailor each lesson to individuals and their abilities. Scott is very passionate about all aspects of the game of golf, and takes great pride in running a first class golf operation.

Originally from Boston, MA, he has resided in Anguilla for the past 29 years.
